Patiala, June 27 – Newsline Express – Ashiana Social Service Society recently inaugurated its new office at Partap Colony, near NIS Chowk, Patiala. The ceremony was graced by S. Balbir Singh, Head of Pingalwara Patiala, as the chief guest, and Sh. S.K. Gautam, President of Janhit Society and Chairman of State Bank of India Employees Union, as the guest of honor.

S. Balbir Singh praised the society’s dedication to supporting needy individuals, particularly in education. He commended Sanmeet Singh, President of Ashiana Social Service Society, and its office bearers for their tireless efforts. S. Balbir Singh also recalled the society’s journey since its registration in 2000.
Sh. S.K. Gautam lauded the society’s work for weaker sections, especially needy meritorious students. He appreciated Sanmeet Singh’s multifaceted role as a senior office bearer in the State Bank of India Employees Union and his contributions to social causes. Gautam also praised the creation of the new office space, without raising a single penny from people’s,which will enable 24×7 accessibility for those in need.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Sh. Vinay Shouri. Other dignitaries present included Sh. Naresh Kumar, Organizing Secretary; Sh. Raj Kumar Mehta, Assistant Secretary; Sh. Barjinder Singh; Sh. Baljinder Singh Jandu; and Sh. Sukhjinder Singh Bhandari, Retired Inspector of Police.

ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, 27 ਜੂਨ – ਨਿਊਜ਼ਲਾਈਨ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ – ਆਸ਼ਿਆਨਾ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਐਨਆਈਐਸ ਚੌਕ ਨੇੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਕਲੋਨੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਦਫਤਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿੰਗਲਵਾੜਾ ਆਸ਼ਰਮ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਹਿਤ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਬੈਂਕ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਇੰਪਲਾਈਜ਼ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਐਸ.ਕੇ. ਗੌਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਸ਼ਿਆਨਾ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਨਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2000 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਐਸ.ਕੇ. ਗੌਤਮ ਨੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਬੈਂਕ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਇੰਪਲਾਈਜ਼ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਨਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੌਤਮ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਪੈਸਾ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਫਤਰੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜੋ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਲਈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ, 24 ਘੰਟੇ, ਪਹੁੰਚਯੋਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਬਣਾਏਗੀ।
