๐ฉShiv Sena Hindustan Begins Preparations for Punjab Assembly Elections
๐ฉState-Level Meeting Held in Jalandhar; Party Plan, Leadership Appointments for All 117 Constituencies
ย ย ย Patiala / Jalandhar/ Newsline Express –ย ย ย ย A joint state-level meeting of Shiv Sena Hindustan and Hindustan Shakti Sena was held at the Circuit House in Jalandhar under the leadership of party national president Pawan Gupta. The meeting, which lasted nearly three hours, witnessed the participation of senior leaders and district representatives from across Punjab.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on a seven-point agenda in view of the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly Elections. The party announced that it is preparing to contest all 117 Assembly constituencies in Punjab on the basis of its agenda. Leaders also stressed the need to unite various Hindu organisations to formulate a joint electoral strategy.
National president of Rashtriya Hindu Kranti Dal, Manoj Nannha, also attended the meeting and emphasised the importance of bringing Hindu organisations across Punjab onto a common platform.
The gathering also discussed guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India regarding the appointment of Booth Level Officers (BLOs). To strengthen the organisational structure, the party decided to appoint key leaders in different regions and hold regular online meetings.
Expressing concern over the law-and-order situation in Punjab, party leaders urged the Punjab Government to appoint a permanent Director General of Police (DGP) and take strict action against gangsterism and terrorism.
The meeting also passed a resolution demanding compensation and a judicial inquiry commission for families affected by terrorism. Addressing the gathering, Pawan Gupta announced that a protest march would be organised from Mohali to Chandigarh in the last week of June 2026.
Among those present at the meeting were Krishna Sharma, Sanjeev Dham, Krishna Kumar Gaba, Mandeep Sharma, Rinku Nabha, Narendra Bhardwaj, Rahul Khanna, Rajesh Ugrahan, Rajesh Uwal, Rahul Khosla, Raman Bhalla, Gagan Nauhria, Vikas Kapoor and Amarjeet Bunty, along with several other party leaders.
