Patiala, October 16 – Newsline Express –ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย The central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held hands with the families affected by the terrible floods that hit Punjab recently and the central government has released relief money worth crores of rupees for the people of Punjab. Senior BJP leader from Patiala Dr. Gurvinder Kansal has sincerely thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for providing relief package to Punjab. He said that Union Agriculture Minister Chouhan told during his visit to Punjab that the Modi government has announced assistance of Rs 1.60 lakh per house for 36,708 houses damaged due to floods, Rs 74 crore for wheat seeds and Rs 3.40 crore for mustard seeds. Along with this, the central government has also issued approval for construction of 40,000 new toilets.
Dr. Kansal said that the central government will provide full support for the compensation of the damage to the gardens and for removing sand from the fields.
He said that the Modi government has always been a benefactor of Punjab and has wholeheartedly supported the people of Punjab in every difficulty.ย Newsline Express
