ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, 4 ਅਗਸਤ – ਨਿਊਜ਼ਲਾਈਨ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ – ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਰਹਿਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਦੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਮੌਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਬਾਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸੱਦੇ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ, 04.08.2025 ਨੂੰ “ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ” ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਰਬਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਕਤ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਰਬਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਨਿਆਂਇਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ, ਮਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਪੀ.ਐਲ.ਏ., ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਪ੍ਰੀਜ਼ਾਈਡਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਲੇਬਰ ਕੋਰਟ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਖਪਤਕਾਰ ਫੋਰਮ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਏ., ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਮਿਤੀ ਤੱਕ ਮੁਲਤਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ 04.08.2025 ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕੂਲ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

In an emergent meeting held by the Executive Body of DBA, Patiala and it has been unanimously resolved to observe “No Work Day” on 04.08.2025, in view of the State Level Call given by Amritsar Bar Association, due to tragic demise of Advocate Lakhwinder Singh, who succumbed to grievous injuries sustained in a brutal attack. District Bar Association will always stand with legal fraternity and further demand immediate arrest of all the accused involved in this heinous crime. District Bar Association, Patiala prays for departed soul. It is unanimously resolved to request All the Respectable Judicial Officer, Revenue Officers, Chairman, PLA, Patiala, Presiding Officer Labour Court, President District Consumer Forum, and all authorities concerned to adjourn the cases of respectable members of DBA, Patiala to some other suitable date and not to pass any adverse order on 04.08.2025.
