Pawan Gupta, the National President of Shiv Sena Hindustan, took to social media today to commend the Punjab Police for successfully thwarting a major terror plot targeting the Shambhu and Rajpura railway tracks. Labeling “Operation Clean” a historic success, Gupta emphasized that while the policeโs tactical response was exceptional, fostering a deeper “Raabta” (connection) with the public remains essential for long-term security.
Commending High-Level Leadership
Gupta extended his appreciation to the top brass of the Punjab Police for their swift and professional “Quick Action.” He credited the seamless coordination between leadership and field teams for preventing a massive tragedy in the state.
Saluting the Command, he, specifically lauded DGP Gaurav Yadav, DIG Kuldeep Chahal, and SSP Varun Sharma for their bravery and strategic execution in apprehending the suspects.
Defending Morale, The Shiv Sena Hindustan supremo issued a stern warning to critics questioning the policeโs methods, stating that any attempt to dampen the morale of the force would not be tolerated.
โZero Toleranceโ Towards Terrorism
Taking a hardline stance on national security, Gupta condemned the glorification of perpetrators of violence.
“The glorification of those who killed innocent Punjabis by labeling them as ‘Bandi Singhs’ must stop. Masterminds of bomb blasts need to be dealt with in their own language; they should not be treated as guests in our prisons,” Gupta stated firmly.
Strengthening the Public-Police Bridge
To further enhance police efficiency, Gupta proposed three key suggestions aimed at bridging the gap between the administration and the citizenry:
Community Engagement: The police must reduce the distance between the administration, common citizens, and public representatives.
Information Networks: A continuous dialogue (Raabta) must be established with citizens who hold anti-terror ideologies to ensure real-time intelligence from the ground.
Building Trust: He asserted that anti-national forces can only be eradicated once there is complete mutual trust between the public and the police.

Invoking the legacy of legendary former police officers such as Julio Ribeiro, K.P.S. Gill, Sumedh Singh Saini, and Suresh Arora, Gupta urged the current administration to remain vigilant against cross-border threats.
