๐ฉShiv Sena Hindustan and Shri Ram Hanuman Seva Dal Submit Memorandum to DC Patiala
Patiala, May 14 – Newsline Express :ย ย ย ย ย ย A joint delegation of senior leaders of Shiv Sena Hindustan and its religious wing, Shri Ram Hanuman Seva Dal, led by Mr. Pawan Gupta, National President of Shiv Sena Hindustan and National Convener of Shri Ram Hanuman Seva Dal, met the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Patiala at his office today and submitted a memorandum regarding the renovation and beautification of the historic Shri Kali Mata Temple.
In the memorandum, the delegation urged the district administration and temple committee to ensure that the religious sentiments and faith of devotees, especially the Hindu community, are fully respected during the ongoing renovation and beautification works at the temple.
The delegation appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Government and the temple committee towards the development and beautification of the temple premises. However, they emphasized that along with modernization and renovation, it is equally important to preserve the traditions, religious sentiments, and emotional attachment of devotees associated with the temple.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Mr. Pawan Gupta said that the organizations welcome all development works being carried out at Shri Kali Mata Temple, but certain issues require special attention from the temple committee to ensure that devoteesโ sentiments are not hurt in any manner.
The delegation also raised concern over the discontinuation of the live telecast of temple proceedings and darshan, stating that thousands of devotees from across the country and abroad remained spiritually connected to the temple through the live broadcasts. They demanded that the live telecast service should be resumed at the earliest.
The Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, patiently heard the concerns and suggestions put forward by the delegation and assured them that both the Punjab Government and the temple committee would give due consideration to the sentiments of devotees and the suggestions submitted in the memorandum. He further stated that he would personally discuss the matter with the temple committee.
